We are located near historic Granada, Colorado, the oldest town in Prowers County on U.S. Highway 50; fifteen miles
east of Lamar, Colorado and fifteen miles west of the Kansas state line. Thousands of cattle were shipped by railroad
from Old Granada by Fred Harvey, owner of the Harvey House Restaurants located along the Santa Fe Trail, big
ranches, and the new Goodnight Cattle Company, who trailed their cattle from Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. These
sites and trails are fun and exciting to visit.
